Multiple initiatives are taking off around the world to electrify and automate vehicle fleets. If fully implemented, this trend carries with it the promise of safer roads, lower Greenhouse Gas emissions, and more efficient mobility options. However, the growth in electric and autonomous mobility needs to be accompanied by commensurate efforts to adapt the road system, including its traffic management and charging infrastructure. This panel will take stock of projects, studies and pilots carried out to ready roads for this paradigm change.
