Dr. Mufti is a Vice President & Director of Major Projects-ME at Parsons Int. Limited, working on various major projects including the Kuwait Technical Support Program where he plays a vital role in coordinating Kuwait rail, roads and other transport activities with the GCC Secretariat. Previously he was Abu Dhabi Sector Manager for the Infrastructure and Transport Division. In that capacity, he was responsible for the Division work in the Abu Dhabi Emirate including clients, projects and the management and oversight of over 500 staff. Dr. Mufti’s career of more than 45 Years, spans academia, private, public, and international organizations in the United States and the Middle East. His career includes a ten-year assignment as a Sr. Technical Advisor with the United Nation Organization. He is a senior manager with superior communications, analytical, and administrative skills, and is particularly proficient in Transportation Planning, Transport Economics and Project Development & Management. He is the editor and /or author of numerous books and technical papers. Dr. Mufti holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvanian State University, an MS degree ( and ABD) from University of Pennsylvania, and MA, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from Princeton University, all in the USA.
